This service is for those couples who may already be married Islamically and require their marriage to be officially registered with the Australian Government under the Marriage Act 1961, or for couples seeking an official legal civil ceremony.
Requirements for this Service
1. One Calendar Month Notice
Must lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form with Imam Abu Hurayra at least 1 month prior to your wedding day.
2. Identification
Original Birth Certificate or valid Passport. (Divorce decree or death certificate if previously married).
3. Two Witnesses
Any two witnesses over the age of 18 who have known the couple for at least two years.
