1. Marriage Notice (NOIM) Minimum Timeframes
In accordance with Section 42 of the Australian Marriage Act 1961, a completed Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged with the celebrant at least 1 calendar month before the ceremony date. The celebrant cannot legally solemnize a civil marriage without this requirement being met, unless a Shortening of Time has been granted by a prescribed authority.
2. Original Documents
Couples must produce original passports or birth certificates, photo ID, and official divorce decrees or death certificates (if previously married) prior to the ceremony. Certified translations are required for non-English documents.
3. Islamic Nikah Requirements
For Islamic Nikah ceremonies, the bride's guardian (Wali), agreed Mahr, and two adult male Muslim witnesses must be confirmed prior to officiating.
4. Booking & Rescheduling
Booking dates are confirmed upon submission of details and celebrant acknowledgment. If you need to reschedule your wedding date, please notify us as early as possible.
